  • PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE

    This is the most sought-after type of pilot certification, similar to a driver's license for automobiles. The FAA requires 40 hours of flight time to get this certificate. So for your first 40 hours of flying, we charge you a base fee of $4,000 for the Cessna C150 and $5,000 for the Piper PA 28-150.

  • SIMULATOR TRAINING

    We provide trainees with access to simulators that are designed to emulate real-life flying experiences to provide them with an authentic flying experience and confidence that they can take to the skies in our fleet. We charge $80/hr for AATD and $30/hr for ATD training.

  • BIENNIAL FLIGHT REVIEW

    This is a review required by the FAA for every active holder of a U.S pilot certificate and should be done at least once every 24 calendar months. The review consists of 1 hour of ground instruction and 1 hour in flight with a qualified flight instructor. We charge $120 for the biennial flight review.

  • COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

    This license legally allows you to get paid as a pilot. The FAA requires 250 hours of flight time as a pilot plus 20 hours of flight training and 10 hours of training in a complex airplane. The estimated price for this license is $5000.

At CROSSAIROCEAN, we mainly focus on the private pilot license and the instrument rating to help introduce the beginner into the aviation community while minimizing the risks of discouragement. We enable our students to gently start the training program without thinking about making a career of it. 

We use the flight simulator more than other schools to practice a lot of flight maneuvers using this device. Why?
