Crossairocean is a flight school located at Zephyrhills airport in Tampa, Florida. We provide flight lessons to anyone trying to learn how to fly. Whether you're looking to start your piloting journey with zero hours of flight experience or a seasoned pilot trying to get more hours under your belt, our highly rated flight instructors are committed to giving you the best experience at an affordable cost.

OUR SERVICES

PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE

This is the most sought-after type of pilot certification, similar to a driver's license for automobiles. The FAA requires 40 hours of flight time to get this certificate. The price estimate for this is $8000
INSTRUMENT RATING

This is a pilot rating earned through training focused on flying solely by reference to instruments. The FAA requires 45 hours of cross-country and 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time. The price estimate for this is $7000.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

This license legally allows you to get paid as a pilot. The FAA requires 250 hours of flight time as a pilot plus 20 hours of flight training and 10 hours of training in a complex airplane. The estimated price for this license is $6000.

SIMULATOR TRAINING

We provide trainees with access to simulators that are designed to emulate real-life flying experiences to provide them with an authentic flying experience and confidence that they can take to the skies in our fleet. We charge $80/hr for AATD and $30/hr for ATD training.
BIENNIAL FLIGHT REVIEW

This is a review required by the FAA for every active holder of a U.S pilot certificate and should be done at least once every 24 calendar months. The review consists of 1 hour of ground instruction and 1 hour in flight with a qualified flight instructor. We charge $120 for the biennial flight review.
