04 — Common Questions
Six Things People Usually Ask
If something else is on your mind, just call — (352) 737-0800.
Will I actually fly the plane?
Yes. Once we're airborne, you take the controls. Your instructor coaches you and handles takeoff and landing.
What if the weather is bad?
We reschedule for free. We'd rather wait for good weather than rush a first flight.
Is there a weight limit?
Our Cessna 150 has a combined weight limit. If you're over 240 lbs, call us and we'll plan around it.
Can I bring someone with me?
One passenger, $20 extra. They ride in the back. If you're under 18, a parent must come along.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes. We provide the headset.
Do I need any experience?
No. Most students have never touched a control yoke. That's the point.
